Lynn Weller you should be embarrassed complaining about something that’s caused by mother nature or act of god next time don’t go anywhere if your going to complain about a privilege in another country that can’t be predicted if or when this happens…🤔😢😢Karen!

Bad seaweed!! Bad seaweed!! ... 🤪

Well her heads been in the sand. Because it’s everywhere depending on the time of year.

Why is this news?

I guess the manager wasn’t available so Karen had to call the news!

Maybe it's the oceans way of trying to get rid of the people who don't appreciate anything and complain about the smallest things. This isn't news. Are these stories being written by high schoolers?

Really. This is all you got for today?

No!!!! Not smelly seaweed?!?!?!? The audacity of the ocean is unbelievable!!!!! How dare you ruin this persons vacation!!!!

It is widely known that raking the ocean is harmful to the eco system.

It happens every year, read reviews!

Umm, well, perhaps tell her not to dine out in the summertime on patios too because there might be flies...... Perhaps she should do an arctic cruise.. doubt there'd be much seaweed there.

Why is this news worthy?

Lol 😂 she needs to go on vacation more often! Seaweed is not new

This happens every year, nothing new. Slow day CTVNews The beach could be totally cleaned up in the morning and by afternoon another surge of sargasso appears. Do your research. The workers are constantly cleaning it. Losing battle

Why is this a story

What I heard is that this is a common occurrence during fall months so, me thinks there was a disconnect of lack of knowledge of this occurrence

And this is news…. We need Elon Musk take over CTV!!!

Stop the world, I want to get off…………WOW! Use the hotel pool!

Umm - this is a well known occurrence in Mexico + I experienced this on my vacation too. However, I did not complain b/c I was on vacation which is a privilege + I could see they were actively working on trying to fix the issue. Lynn should have done her research before booking.

It's your vacation. It's THEIR life

Is this satire?

This person must have been living in a cave for the past decade.

Ohhh the humanity! Rich privileged Canadians are inconvenienced by nature.

*shakes fist at Trudeau*

Like complaining that the beach has sand.

….. and she’s from Ontario. Shocker! LOL!

Let's boycott the beach ⛱

In other news; water is in fact wet.

First world problems.

Let’s recap: 1) natural occurring at that time of the year, like hurricanes 2) Can happen overnight 3) no way to predict at booking if it will happen when you are there, like hurricanes 4) travelling to the South always risky in August cause of hurricanes

Awwwwww damn you nature

One of the hottest months down there…likely need to do your research before spending hard earned money. Maybe her travel agent dropped the ball!

Looks like lynn is a very imp person?

If you are going to run this type of story why don't you name the resort and area as a precautionary tale? Make it somewhat relevant rather than just another sob story by entitled people who think the rest of us give a crap about their lives.

She needs a new agent.

Why do we need to know this? People experience many things on vacation and they don’t get reported. Waste of ink.

I appreciate the info. I too like to venture into the ocean. Now I know to check out the seasons/dates these seaweed deposits are expected.

I do not feel bad for Lynn. Why is this news?

Sloww news week eh?

Who cares?

Climate Change. Your vacation ruined? Start doing research. People in Caribbean have been dealing with seaweed problem for years! CBCNews

Sargassum.

does she know how nature works?

Poor poor Lynn Weller - she spent $1000s on a vacation MOST of us could never afford and got a smelly, seaweedy beach that prevented her and her rich friends from tanning on their comfy beach chairs. The horror of it all.

And they did not speak English

Waaaa waaaaa

This is news

Was the salsa too spicy too?

How did this shit make the news? No wonder nobody watches anymore.

That's some first world problem shit right here.

Was the dirt also too dusty and rustic?

Boo-hoo.
