Williamson says, “I’ve always been intrigued with the idea of building things.” In the past, she’s transformed a small travel trailer into “the nicest fishing shack ever” and turned a mobile home she purchased from her cousin for a dollar into a Mexican beach-style retreat. Lac Pelletier’s scenery is sure to amaze, she adds. “A lot of people think Saskatchewan is just flat. But when you get 50 kilometres off the Trans Canada highway and arrive at Lac Pelletier, it’s just spectacular, with rolling hills, trees, the lake and incredible sunsets.
