Thanksgiving travel expected to be at pre-pandemic volume

is less than a week away, and a lot of people are getting started on their holiday travel plans. Airports are expected to be busy this holiday season, as travel bounces back from the pandemic.

"Driving out here was a little bit crowded but other than that it’s ok," said Kebreab. "But I see the line to security is quite long." AAA anticipates more than 4.5 million Americans will fly over Thanksgiving. That’s up from 4.18 million last year. And expect Wednesday to be the busiest day at airports and on the roads.

Remember to be nice and be patient when you fly. You aren’t the only one who stood in security line forever, is in a small seat, or got up early to catch a flight. A little kindness goes a long way. Safe travels!
