Manchester has been ranked as one of the 'coolest' cities in the UK to live, according to a popular travel blog.
The list, which is part of the blog's 'Amazing Places to Live in the UK publication rounds up the best places to live so readers can find somewhere that suits them and their budget. The round-up summarises the cost of living in each city, the cost of rent and other pros and cons.The top ten also featured Brighton in third, Edinburgh in fourth and Oxford and fifth, while Manchester ranked in sixth ahead of Bristol, Exeter, Belfast and Cardiff.
The guide adds: "Once a hive of industry, with textile factories and busy canals, Manchester is an unpretentious but funky place that people are proud to be from.
