Lll. It's Sunwing. They're lucky she didn't end up in prison in Malaysia after they found 2 kilos of coke in her bag.. Its a budget vacation package airline. Is this really a story. 😂 😂 😂

Serves you right for making people attend a destination wedding.. over Christmas break.. Congrats on the second marriage though

That’s what I would do too, book a destination wedding in the middle of blizzard season. But then I’d also complain when it didn’t work out lol

always take essentials in a carryon

Sad and sorry that this happened to the couple. However, sunwing is a thrift airline and there is always a chance this happens. How about all the couples that lost their deposits due to Covid19 lockdowns and venues went out of business.

I honestly can't sympathize with people who feel the need to check luggage. This is nothing new. Prioritize what you need. If you can't carry it on in a overhead bin and a pack under the seat, it's probably useless.

That's happened to me twice with Sunwing, so I'm not surprised it happened to you too.

Thankfully SunWing got a bailout from Trudeau. Screw taxpayers 🖕🏾

Hate to point out the obvious: It WAS Sunwing after all. Do things on the cheap? You get a cheap experience.
