Sunwing is facing a public relations disaster after winter storms disrupted the airline and thousands of Canadian vacationers were left stranded.

Why should they compensate? It's winter in North America, and we get snow storms, and ice. It's Sunwings fault the airports were closed? You can't even complain about terrible customer service b/c you paid a bottom barrel fare. What did you expect?
