If you frequently travel through Union Station, you might've noticed the colourful yet dreary art pannels that run through the entire length of the subway platform.
The installation also includes a variety of poems, with one reading,"where do you look? You can't look at the people across or behind, up or down too intently - they get 'creeped out' yet they're right in front of you." "It is filmic, immersive, and responsive to the viewers' movements – seeing themselves figuratively and literally mirrored in this subjective rendering of the very experience they are objectively part of at the moment of their viewing," Reid said of the installation.While some people don't seem to be too fond of the installation, others said they've grown to appreciate it.

I feel bad for the artist, because their work is great. It's just not right for a subway station. Commuting is depressing enough, no one needs it reflected back at them.
I don’t care about that, just fix the trains
I turn my head away every time since I don't want to see these depressing 'arts' after a long day of work in DT. May be put up Doug's or John's photos instead 🤣
Ok, I’ll be a minority non-hater. I’m there a lot and am fine with it. It’s real and always captures my imagination.
i stare at this minimum five times a week waiting for the subway to arrive in an unspecified amount of time (absolutely not three minutes) and yes it is absolutely the worst. thousands of commuters daily and you choose this not hard to do better.

try throwing rocks at it and break the glass and have the light flash through it. it will show the light that can flash at you also.
Why is a professor doing this art & not young artists who are always more talented, unique & creative than their teachers. The drawings are fine in a gallery but these sketchy forlorn (depressing) visuals seem out of place here at UnionStation Art
