The Department of Public Works and Highways in Western Visayas said that it is fast-tracking the construction of an access road that is expected to boost the tourism industry and marine economy in Makato, Aklan.

She said the access road project is in convergence with the Department of Tourism and spans 1.74 kilometers long and 6.10 meters wide.
