Airbnb has issued a travel scam warning to Brits booking their holidays this year ⚠️

The global home rent company has commissioned new research to analyse the impact of theSince January is the most popular month for us to book our breaks, Brits up and down the country are likely on the hunt for a bargain.

6% of adults are willing to book impulsively as soon as they see the price if it means paying less and 15% would pay for the break by bank transfer - where their money is not protected - to save a penny or two.71% of people admitted that they or someone they know has been a victim of fraud or a scam, with research suggesting that victims of holiday scams lose an average of £1,397 each.
