Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for the Sault with snowfall and windy conditions expected this morning.
Reduced visibility on the roadways is possible with an additional 5 cm of snow expected in addition to northwesterly winds gusting to near 50 km/h. The snow is expected to taper off this afternoon though travel conditions in the meantime could change quickly as a result of the snow and wind.
