Tottenham assistant manager Cristian Stellini has revealed he will ring the changes when they face Sheffield United in the FA Cup.to take on their Championship opponents in the fifth round on Wednesday, and No.2 Stellini will be in the dugout again with manager Antonio Conte still absent.are expected to name a largely second-string side, but could include Harry Kane in the starting XI after he missed Spurs’ fourth round win over Preston North End.
“We completely trust all the players we have so we can make changes and nothing has to change. Last season we were disappointed after the match against Middlesbrough [who knocked an under-strength Tottenham team out of the cup].
Despite suggestions Conte could be back on the touchline, Stellini has said that won’t be the case, with a return date yet to be set. The Spurs boss is currently recovering after undergoing surgery at the start of February to remove his gallbladder. Conte will now remain in his homeland to recuperate further, as further checks are carried out on the Italian before his return.
