The U.S. State Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety have each warned Americans to skip spring break vacations in Mexico, noting that ongoing violence poses a significant safety threat.in Mexico earlier this month. There's a"Level 4: Do Not Travel" advisory for Tamaulipas, the Mexican state the Americans were in when they were kidnapped.
Visitors should also be careful about any medication and alcohol purchased in Mexico. American citizens have passed out and become injured after drinking possibly tainted alcohol in Mexico, the advisory noted. "Drug cartel violence and other criminal activity represent a significant safety threat to anyone who crosses into Mexico right now," McCraw said Friday."We have a duty to inform the public about safety, travel risks and threats. Based on the volatile nature of cartel activity and the violence we are seeing there, we are urging individuals to avoid travel to Mexico at this time."under its Level 4 advisory: Colima, Guerrero, Michoacán, Sinaloa, Tamaulipas and Zacatecas.
Lol I went to Mexico this time last year. Was completely fine. Did a ton of psychedelics and had a great time.
They will still go. When was the last mass shooting at a spring break location in Mexico? And when was the last mass shooting in the US? The latter probably happened while i was typing this.
Ha. Canada issues similar warnings about travel to the United States.
Is it as dangerous as nyc subways?
Close the Border!!
With all the perforated borders and loonies welcoming the criminals with open arms, soon a similar advisory would have to be given for travelling through Border states. Illegal immigration is wreaking havoc and Washington is happy to turn a blind eye to the elephant in the room.
What more dangerous Mexico or mtg
Don’t go to Mexico. I know an American who was murdered at a resort two years ago. It’s dangerous
FJB
What’s more dangerous, Mexico or Florida? That’s where they’ll go.
