The CPA reminded the public to book their tickets in advance to avoid hassle caused by long queues in ticketing offices.
Even if wearing of face mask in ports is already optional, the CPA still encourages elderly, individuals with comorbidities, immunocompromised individuals, pregnant women, unvaccinated individuals, and symptomatic individuals to wear one. Passengers are also encouraged to be at the port at least two hours before the scheduled departure time.First aid stations and Malasakit Help Desks will be put up in port terminals to provide passenger assistance and support.
All ports in Cebu have been under heightened alert starting April 2. The heightened alert status will end on April 10.
