This includes lacrosse, as the booming sport is already seeing a handful of competitive teams arise in the area.On Thursday, PennLive will be streaming one of the conference’s big matchups live, as a boys lacrosse showdown between State College and Cumberland Valley will kick off in Mechanicsburg at 6 p.m.Led by midfielder Aydan Gilbert and long stick middle Connor Fritz, the Eagles boast a 4-1 record on the 2023 season, with their only loss coming to Susquehannock.
But at 3-1, State College will provide a stiff test, with a handful of preseason PennLive All-Stars on the roster, such as midfielder Cooper Brushwood, defender Jack Morris and goalkeeper Zack Paterno.
