Hypothetically, you could get to the terminal 30 minutes before boarding and still have time to spare . Still, you’d miss out on all the amenities the hefty price tag affords you. Waiting areas have candy dispensers, artwork and plush seating that set the tone, and countless goodies are included in the membership. The company contacts guests before they arrive to ensure customized amenities are fully stocked, including anything off-menu.
The Salon, where travelers wait for their flight, was gorgeous, with a quiet lull of five people relaxing before their flight. Cool blue and gold accents with flattering lighting and midcentury modern furniture make the entire room feel expensive. It also has showers with essential and luxury items you may want to add to your suitcase, like skin care products, face masks, eye drops, hairbrushes and tweezers. There’s also a garden with games for families and friends to enjoy and pets to roam.
An employee immediately offered me a coffee, but I opted for a lemon ginger tea, which came in a loose-leaf tea bag with packets of organic raw honey. The bar is full service, though, so if you’d like a vodka cranberry or mimosa at 8:30 in the morning, you can have it.
Cool service and nice write up. Would love to know what that car ride across the tarmac is like and do you get to climb the stairs to the jet bridge and walk right on? (Don't trip over the strollers they stack there)
