The stroke left Mr Roberts in Perth, paralysed and wheelchair bound, where he died before he could return home to Laverton. "With X-rays, there's only a certain number of nurses who have the skills to take an X-ray and if that nurse is not in town then we can't X-ray." Shire president Pat Hill said the upgrades needed to be prioritised over less "critical" metropolitan projects.
A government spokesperson said planned works would optimise emergency care facilities and include new beds, resuscitation bays and acute treatment rooms.
The voice will fix it lol
hospitals have been failing under Labor for years. this will get worse and God help us.
No ultrasound equipment, and limited X-ray due to lack of training, for a regional health centre is just shocking! She is absolutely right that these upgrades, including better (regular) staff training, need to be a major priority for all levels of government.
Oh come on. Labor are renowned for ignoring the health system and don’t forget Albo’s just cut funding to hospitals to fund killing people in Europe instead
