Advertising mogul Sir Martin Sorrell has revealed he is receiving"preventative treatment" following surgery in February to remove a tumour.
The 78-year old British businessman, who founded WPP and later S4 Capital, said he had made"an excellent recovery" following the keyhole procedure. But the notorious workaholic added that he would reduce his travel schedule for the next few weeks during the continuing treatment, which was expected to last a few months."My doctors have advised me that during this treatment, I should be able to work as normal most of the time, fully engaging with the company and our excellent executive team," he wrote., under a cloud in 2018, through dozens of acquisitions.
After suffering during the pandemic, S4 Capital last month reported a 23% increase in profits for 2022.S4 set a like-for-like revenue growth target of 8-12% for the current 2023 year.
