The delegation led by Tourism Selangor chief executive officer Azrul Shah Mohamad participated in the three-day conference in Florida to strengthen Selangor’s cruise tourism segment.Tourism Selangor is determined to tap into the cruise tourism segment as it has a high potential of contributing towards an increase of tourists to Selangor.
Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association president Michele Paige said the “Further Momentum” theme perfectly encapsulates both Seatrade Cruise Global and the cruise industry. “FCCA looks forward to optimising opportunities with our partners to continue building back better together,” she said. “In 2022, a total of 141 ships carrying 342,721 passengers sailed to Port Klang Cruise Terminal, which is the largest and busiest port in Malaysia,” he said.
