The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital is now better equipped to admit more patients in a bid to reduce medical tourism.

“The new multipurpose medical building, which comprises four medical schools in the areas of anaesthesia technology, echocardiograph, orthopaedic cast technology and postgraduate nursing, also houses the Family Medicine Department, Dietetics Department, Managed Care Unit, Immunisation Clinic, Private Wards, Super Executive Private Wards, 20-bed Intensive Care Unit, a spa and a gym, amongst others,” the CMD said.

Other projects are the Special Services Centre which accommodates a Dialysis Unit, a Bronchoscopy Suite, a Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and an Endoscopy Suite, among others.“Likewise, our cardiac catheterisation laboratory has so far had 120 different procedures done,’’ Fabamwo added.All rights reserved.
