The former three-term provincial governor also said that "ALBAY WILL ALWAYS THRIVE," before throwing in the hashtags #LOVEALBAY , #LOVEMAYON , #AlbaySagcodPaman , and #AlbayForever .Salceda's Facebook post also came with a list of 13 facts as to why "Mayon is an icon in the Philippines and I the world, sine them immemorial".

"MAYON IS A TOURISM STAR. It is famous around the world, attracting millions of tourists every year, both local and foreign making Albay as one of the major tourist destinations in the Philippines. It was even visited personally by the Secretary General of United Nations World Tourism Organization Taleb Rifai when Albay hosted thr UNWTO and ASEAN Summit in 2014," read another tidbit.
