A Dublin hotel has been accused of price gouging after multiple people claimed bookings they made for Taylor Swift's upcoming Dublin show were cancelled for no reason.
In one instance, a two-bed apartment in west Dublin was found to be for rent for over €20,000 for the weekend of Taylor Swift’s concerts in the city next year.On Sunday, multiple people who had booked accommodation in Dublin for the I Knew You Were Trouble singer’s shows took to Twitter to post about having their booking cancelled by their hotel for “no reason”.
“The hotel has now cancelled my booking, with no reason. Irish hotels are out of control, price gouging - so frustrating.”One person commented: “The same thing has happened to me.
