I say most anyone on the Boston - NY - Washington line would love bullet trains to whisk them between those cities and be able to ride in comfort from downtown to downtown, avoiding schlepping out to the airport hours in advance, sandwiched into ever smaller seats, & flight delay

Fuck the airlines. The traveler pays baggage fees, kicked off flights, the airline food sucks, TSA is evil, making you wait for 45 minutes to get through. So if a better, more accommodating, economically decent & good for environment method is developed to travel, taking it.
I’m willing to pay a carbon offset. And eat less red meat. But I’m not giving up flying. My kids live across the country.
