British tourists are being urged to check one urgent passport issue that could stop them from entering their destination. The travel document is about to undergo a major change as new passports with the title of King Charles III will be issued from this week, featuring the title of 'His Majesty' for the first time in 70 years.
Ahead of the change, an expert is reminding flyers to check that their travel documents are valid, but also that they have enough blank pages. According to the luggage storage experts at Bounce, a lot of countries require a set amount of blank pages to mark a person's entrance and exit and if you don't have enough - you may have to renew it before it expires.
"Be sure to check the requirements of your chosen destination before traveling so that you don’t get caught out." Travel requirements for countries can differ, but the standard that most countries ask for is two passport pages to mark a person's entrance and exit from the nation. If you're travelling anywhere in the world that requires a visa, make sure to check your passport has plenty of pages so you don't waste a trip.
