SYDNEY, N.S. — Thursday’s provincial cabinet shuffle saw Allan MacMaster add the Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage portfolio to his current responsibilities as Minister of Finance and Treasury Board, Minister of Labour Relations, and Minister of Gaelic Affairs.Trevor Boudreau, MLA for Richmond, will also become Minister of Community Services and Minister responsible for L’nu Affairs when the House of Assembly resumes on Oct. 12.
Another historic change with Thursday’s shuffle will see Twila Grosse, the MLA for Preston, join cabinet as Minister of African Nova Scotian Affairs and Minister of the Public Service Commission. She is the first female African Nova Scotian member of the Nova Scotia Executive Council.
