“It has been an honour to represent Pictou Centre for 13 years,” Dunn said in a telephone interview on Sept. 14. “There’s been a lot of significant accomplishments, whether it be small like helping people who come in the office or larger such as opening the African Nova Scotia affairs office in New Glasgow.

Dunn has been the MLA for Pictou Centre for 13 years, first elected in 2006, voted out in 2009, and returned to the position in 2013. Pictou Centre includes Trenton, Stellarton and New Glasgow.
