The shortlist for this year’s Boutique Hotelier Awards has been announced and several hotels near Greater Manchester have made the cut. The awards, now in its third year, celebrate the best hotels in the country, recognising innovative products and employers in the hospitality sector.
The voting process is now open, with the winners being unveiled at an awards ceremony on October 16 in London. Various locations across the north have been featured on the shortlist whittled down from hundreds of nominations.READ MORE: 37 brilliant things to do and places to visit in Manchester The 4-star hotel has already been awarded a Michelin Star this year for its restaurant, which features a menu curated by executive chef Robby Jenks. It serves a seasonally changing menu with ingredients grown in the hotel’s garden, greenhouse and woodland.
Also competing for the title of Boutique Hotel of the Year is Yorebridge House in the Yorkshire Dales. A five star hotel in the heart of Wensleydale, it's surrounded by stunning countryside and selected rooms even have their own private outdoor hot tubs.
