The rebranding marks the next chapter of the company’s commitment to travel innovation and the growth of its other digital businessesCapital A Berhad, a multi-national airline group, is set to begin a new chapter on travel innovation as it transforms its digital arm, Airasia Digital, into Move Digital. The company’s CEO, Tony Fernandes, made the announcement last Sep. 18 in Kuala Lumpur.
According to Fernandes, the rebranding is influenced both by the app users and the management. “When you think about it, red is owned by Airasia. So in Airasia Superapp, no matter what you do, people are going to see it as Airasia the airline,” he told Manila Bulletin Lifestyle. “We want to be much more than that. By changing it to green, we are more than selling tickets.”
