Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has in principle agreed to the implementation of the visa on arrival (VOA) in Langkawi, said Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Mohamaddin Ketapi.

The visa on arrival system is expected to encourage more tourists to visit Langkawi.

LANGKAWI: Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has in principle agreed to the implementation of the visa on arrival in Langkawi, said Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Mohamaddin Ketapi.“After this, I’ll write a letter on the proposal to Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin,” he told reporters after launching the SFT3 Special Tourism Fund here today.
