KEMABONG: Rundum Highlands has great potential to be a tourist destination and be put on the global map, especially when infrastructure in the area is developed.

Rundum Highlands Village Chief Sigoh Ruat, 53, said residents are also confident that the village can once again become large producer of highland crops, particularly cabbage.Sigoh said Rundum Highlands was once called Kg Kubis where villagers worked on cabbage crops. He added that the destination also holds significant historical value with the history of Murut Warrior Ontoros Antanom known for leading the Murut tribe against the British in 1915.
