PFD sales slash airline ticket prices out of Alaska

Following a historic vote, Republican Representative Kevin McCarthy is no longer the Speaker of the House. The U.S. House of Representatives voted 216 to 210 to oust McCarthy from his speakership, with 8 conservatives joining democrats to remove him. A former Anchorage Police Department Patrol Officer is facing multiple sexual assault charges, along with prosecutors adding that he committed burglary, stalking and committed computer crimes. A report published this week by the U.S. Department of Justice says police pursuits should only happen if an officer is aware a violent crime has been committed or when a person poses a threat of violence.
