The incident happened at around 9pm on Saturday, August 26, at Moorfields Train Station, when a member of Merseyrail staff refused entry to a woman at the ticket barrier. She was stopped by the staff member as he believed she was unfit to travel.
British Transport Police have now released a CCTV image of a woman they believe could have information about the incident which could assist their investigation.
