Multiple train services from Glasgow have been brought to an abrupt halt following a "fault" in the signalling system on Thursday morning.
ScotRail wrote to inform passengers that disruption to their journeys is expected while staff work to fix the issue. The fault is understood to be between Pollokshaws and Barrhead. A ScotRail spokesperson wrote: "Due to a fault with the signalling system between Pollokshaws West and Barrhead disruption is expected. "Our services are unable to operate between Glasgow - Barrhead, Kilmarnock and Carlisle until staff have rectified the fault."
