For many families the year is not complete without a visit to the Blackpool Illuminations. The preferred way to get to the seaside resort and soak in the six-mile light show is either by foot or by marvelling at it from the comfort of your car.

It goes right into the hub of things, along White gate Drive, down Church Street and Talbot Road before taking in a snippet of the Promenade and terminating at Corporation Street. The journey should take around 80- 90 minutes.
