The Hartswater Regional Court recently imposed a 26 years’ imprisonment sentence to 27-year-old Tsholofelo Sydney Wesi for raping a 27-year-old female victim on Saturday, 07 September 2019.
The suspect took out a knife and robbed the victim of her money and proceeded to rape her twice in different locations. The Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Koliswa Otola, welcomed the Court outcome, citing that it will serve as a deterrent to other would-be rapists.
