The Summit continued through Monday, featuring panelists addressing topics; from women in sports to the potential MLB team in Utah. 2News spoke with Steve Starks, CEO of Larry H. Miller Company, who shared three key points during the panel:The impact this would have on the community."We at Visit Salt Lake and Sports Salt Lake believed that Salt Lake was getting this team — And I believe we were going to get it. I believe this was really going to lift a lot of things around the community," said Sports Salt Lake Executive Director Clay Partain.
Salt Lake City was announced as the best host city for sports last week, further confirming it was the best spot for a team.
