Galeshewe GBVF accused sentenced to 15 years imprisonment

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Podcast Announces next 12 episodesThe Galeshewe Regional Court recently imposed a 15 years’ prison sentence to 31-year-old, Thabiso Abrahams for the murder of his girlfriend on Sunday, 26 June 2022.

The Court heard that the accused assaulted his girlfriend with a broom stick until it broke and continued stabbing her on both her legs.The Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Koliswa Otola, welcomed the Court outcome, citing that the police will leave no stone unturned in preventing violence against women and children.The views of authors published on South Africa Today are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of South Africa Today.
