Security Minister Tom Tugendhat has refused to say how many British nations have left Gaza through the Rafah crossing.
Mr Tugendhat told Sky News he wouldn’t give a “running commentary” and said it was “not easy” to say if all the 92 British nationals on Friday’s list of those allowed to leave the territory would be permitted to do so. He said he gave an 'assurance that the UK Government and the Prime Minister, the Foreign Secretary, me and many others have been absolutely committed to making sure” that British nationals are able to leave Gaza and “get them out of this incredibly dangerous situation”.
