With the inaugural running of the modern Las Vegas Grand Prix just one week away, astronomical ticket and hotel prices announced last year have started to drop. While that is bad news for people who purchased high-priced options well in advance, it is good news for Formula 1 fans hoping for a slightly more affordable way to see the series race close to America's west coast.
One hotel, the Delano, has dropped its price by over $1,000 per night. Major resorts within and near the track, like the Bellagio and the Aria, are still offering their most affordable rooms at above $1,000 per night, but even their rates are down from the prices listed in 2022.Ticket prices follow the same trend. According to data provided to CNN by TickPick, the average 'get-in' price has dropped from $1645 to $1060 over just the past month.
