The budget airline's ad campaign has sparked outrage because of a slogan which has been linked to sex tourism

AirAsia flies to more than 140 destinations in the Asia Pacific, with two-thirds of its Australian passengers connecting to other destinations through the network.

In February, the budget airline announced it would launch a new service between Bangkok, Thailand to Brisbane, Australia from June.Collective Shout, a grassroots movement against the objectification of women and sexualisation of girls in media, said the latest campaign ads were a “dog whistle for sex tourists”.

"Bangkok is a hub of sexual exploitation of women and children, and 250,000 western male sex tourists visit Thailand every year," spokeswoman Melinda Liszewski said. One of the adverts was spotted at the Brisbane Airport and posted to Reddit. Brisbane City councilor Kara Cook told Nine News"it should never have appeared on our city's streets".The LNP simply fobbed off residents concerns to an external agency. This shouldn’t have happened

no. from an Asian perspective and a male. perspective that is not promoting sex tourism. I think airasia did nothing wrong. This matter is way overblown by PC people and extreme liberals. Even the sex tourists I know say they wouldn't have thought that.

I too seek sexual meanings in every bus advertisement.

Not gonna lie that's pretty funny
