NANTA moves to check fraud, holds AGM vanguardngr.com vanguardnews

Bernard said: “Our Travel Practitioners Identification Project is aimed at checking activities of fraudulent illegal travel and tour operators in the country. The initiative would ensure that every travel and tour operator, whether owner or employee of travel agency must have the identity card with a Unique Identification Number.”

According to him, this year’s AGM with the theme: “Developing Strategic Policies for the Sustainability of the Growth of the Travel and Tourism Industry,” will feature prominent Nigerians and government officials who have signified their interest in facilitating the development and growth of the sector.

He also called on the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, to create an enabling environment for the growth of the industry.
