According to the News Agency of Nigeria , the Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade-John, gave the assurance during her courtesy visit to the palace of the Akran of Badagry, Aholu Menu Toyi 1, which was facilitated by Sesi Whingah, the lawmaker representing Badagry Constituency in the House of Representatives.
She urged community leaders and residents to engage in community-based activities to attract tourists to the town.The lawmaker said that he facilitated the coming of the minister and other stakeholders to Badagry to show them what they had in the town. Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese, Mathew Hassan Kukah, has been slated to deliver the second yearly lecture organised by Kleen Foundation in honour and memory of the late founder, Mr Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma.
