Ruben Zerpa, of Canaries Sold Out, says tourism needs to become 'sustainable' as campaigners plan a hunger strike over two hotel developments

Mr Zerpa, who is a national beatbox champion, said tourism had pushed up rental prices for local people. “Many property owners prefer to rent to high-paying visitors and locals are priced out of the market.”
