A travelling warning has been issued to fans heading to the Scottish Cup semi-final today.

ScotRail has said due to the line between Airdrie and Bathgate being closed at Caldercruix, fans heading to the match should use alternative Edinburgh to Glasgow services.

It comes after we reported the travel firm said the line was shut between Caldercruix and Drumgelloch due to a sinkhole swallowing part of the track.According to the travel firm's website, services between Helensburgh and Edinburgh - which pass through Glasgow Queen Street - have been cancelled this morning after Coatdyke.will take on Hearts at Hampden Park at 3pm - ScotRail has urged fans to use alternative Edinburgh to Glasgow routes if travelling.

The rail firm has said services between Edinburgh at Glasgow Queen Street via Falkirk High and Edinburgh to Glasgow Central via Shotts are running as normal.The travel operator has also said additional trains will operate between Glasgow Central and Mount Florida before and after the matches, with queuing systems in operation at both stations.Scottish Cup semi-final, please use our other Edinburgh – Glasgow routes, which are operating normally, if that's an option for you.
