: Kerajaan negeri akan mengkorporatkan Tourism Johor pada tahun ini dalam usaha untuk memperkasakan agensi berkenaan, kata Menteri Besar Johor Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.
“Dengan ini, kita akan berpeluang untuk mengambil pekerja yang mempunyai latar belakang pelancongan yang kukuh supaya mereka boleh membantu meningkatkan pemasaran dan produk-produk pelancongan. Turut hadir Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Perpaduan, Warisan dan Budaya negeri K Raven Kumar dan Pengarah Tourism Johor Sharil Nizam Abdul Rahim.
“Perkara ini dibangkitkan sendiri oleh Pemangku Sultan Johor yang bertanyakan kepada saya, bila kita hendak korporatkan Tourism Johor, insya-Allah kita akan lakukan tahun ini supaya kualiti agensi ini dapat ditingkatkan,” katanya.
