Emu Run Tours is alleged to have made a change to one of its busses without assessments or approvals before it crashed and killed a 69-year-old man.

A tourism operator, its director, and a mechanic have been charged over their alleged conduct in a fatal bus crash that killed a 69-year-old man west of Alice Springs.

NT Worksafe alleges Emu Run Tours, Patrick Bedford who owns the company, and mechanic Ian Jackson breached the Work Health and Safety Act in 2022 on 11 occasions. Police described the injuries to the interstate and international tourists as "significant and life-changing".
