For those who don't want to accept cookies or subscribe to these 'news'papers, Lumley is encouraging vacationers to get off the beach and explore their surroundings, meet the locals and find out about the local culture instead of baking themselves in the sun.

Absolutely right - ruins & ages your skin & you can always sunbathe in your back garden or a park. If I’m visiting somewhere new I want explore & experience life there - not sleep in public on something uncomfortable.
