Trains across the north of England will switch to a new summer timetable from Sunday, with a warning to passengers to check times before they travel issued.

Customers should use the 'check my timetable' tool on the website to see the changes that affect their local station."
The operators also confirmed additional services running later into the evening between Liverpool and Manchester.
