A woman went away on vacation and her bank account balance was so much lower when she returned that a regular automatic payment had bounced.

Riki Dawn Mitchell's legal troubles include drug and driving charges in 2019, and a variety of theft, fraud and forgery charges through May 27, 2024.

“Her checkbook was located inside of her nightstand,” it continued, “which was located inside of her bedroom during her vacation, had multiple people at the residence and that at one point had left the residence unsecured while he went shopping at the store. “He does not have a phone number for her. He says she uses TextNow and changes her number all the time.”“ said the additional money was to be for a future stay, although he said she was no longer there, and he did not know her location.“ said told him Mitchell wanted him to deposit the check and said it was given to her by a rich person, and they wanted it made out directly to so Mitchell didn't take the money.
