A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms is in place from 11am until 9pm today with the Met Office warning of driving conditions being affected by standing water, possible damage to buildings, delays to public transport and some flooding.A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Showers developing later on Tuesday morning, becoming heavy with some thunderstorms through the afternoon and early evening.
