Managing Director of Manchester Airport Chris Woodroofe said officials had established that a power cable failure caused the outage but officials are uncertain as to why it failed."At this stage we don't know what caused the cable to fail, we're going to be looking into the root cause of that next week," Mr Woodroofe said.
